Housing the best diving reef in the world Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon creates a magical atmosphere for the discerning traveller; modern luxury mingled with tradition.
Superior Rooms are ideal for families and small groups including kids. They are spacious and comfortably accommodate about four people while being designed with bright colour schemes and cosy decor. An open air bathroom that offers stunning views of the ocean and terra cotta floors adds to the sense of luxury.
Designed for maximum privacy and comfort the Beach Bungalows offer sweeping ocean views and feature thatched rooms, comfy Divans, balconies and verandas. The outdoor bath tub is ideal for a long and relaxing bath in the night time while the ocean-blue colour scheme of the interior provides tranquillity mixed with spacious and luxury accented settings.
Offering gorgeous views of the setting sun, the Water Bungalows offer almost surreally beautiful accommodation on white wooded and thatched roofed bungalows built on a semi-circular deck above the Indian Ocean. The outdoor tub, separate dining area, bar, private deck and infinity pool only adds to the brilliant experience.
Madi Restaurant makes up Ellaidhoo’s biggest dining venue and sandy floors and delicious buffet style meals featuring continental cuisine. The restaurant provides breakfast, lunch and dinner with the massive roof providing shelter from the hot sun as well as the occasional rain. The relaxed atmosphere offers everyone the chance to relax and enjoy a great meal.
The Malamathi Restaurant & Bar is located close to the Water Bungalows so that guests could enjoy a delicious meal in comfort. Aptly named this eatery offers beautiful sunset views and features continental cuisine with an a la carte menu, buffets and cocktail bar. Multiple action stations and a semi-open setting on the pool deck increases the feeling of an island holiday.
The Iruohsnee Bar is located on the main decks of Ellaidhoo and is a favourite among guests. A delicious continental menu is featured daily. Entertainment boasts DJs and even classic rock bands and traditional Iruohsnee. Daily feeding starts at 5.30pm where buckets of fresh seafood is fed to the fish that swim up to the deck of the restaurant; spectacular to put it mildly.
Tropical storms could hit Ellaidhoo and the Sand Bar provides the perfect spot to throw back some innovative cocktails while enjoying a meal off the a la carte menu even in the midst of unfavourable weather. The magic at Ellaidhoo is well embodied in the traditionally designed space which also offers gorgeous views.
